Some thought yesterday’s press conference was somewhere between disappointing and deeply concerning. Markets briefly reacted negatively but showed an ability to sustain the current levels of strength and optimism. Others continue to believe that one of the hidden drivers is that the market seems more concerned about missing a rally than anything else after missing Brexit and the ensuing rally and missing Trump and the ensuing rally.
